SIGN-IN / LOCAL DATA

Cookies & Storage.

Published October 12, 2026 · Subject to updates

A short explanation of how .paletta remembers your sign-in and the work saved in your browser.

Information on this page reflects .paletta's current implementation. Legal and billing policies require operator review before live commercial launch.

Account session cookies

The main site uses an HttpOnly, Secure cookie on HTTPS to hold an opaque session identifier. The intended login lifetime is 30 days unless you sign out or a session is revoked. The session cookie is configured for paletta.dev and its subdomains so your account survives normal navigation between the main website and workspace.

Workspace local storage

Chat sessions and project names are saved locally in your browser for continuity. These records are not a backed-up cloud sync feature. Clearing local storage, using incognito mode, changing browsers, or deleting browser data may remove them.

OAuth state

When you connect a sign-in provider, a short-lived cookie helps protect the authorization flow. The third-party provider may set cookies on its own domain under its privacy policy.

Payments

Stripe Checkout is hosted by Stripe and may use its own cookies or local storage for payment security and checkout functionality. Read Stripe's privacy materials for those details.

Your choices

You can sign out and clear local chat history from your browser settings. Disabling required account cookies can prevent sign-in. Contact Support with questions.
